A message from our team.
It's been over three years since we launched The Yognau(gh)t Community Network all the way back in 2019
We've been through a lot in that time, from working with The Yogscast on the Jingle Jam, to The Fire. Spanning 8 Minecraft updates and a number of revisions to the network.
The Mistral Network has been an amazing place for our community to come together, play Minecraft, and have fun. We've loved seeing what you've all created over the years, loved bringing you a place to call home. Loved being... Mistral!
However, all good things must come to an end. The Mistral Network has always been a volunteer run network, a passion project created and maintained by a dedicated team who all care deeply, but in recent times, we've not been able to keep up with the demands of a full Minecraft network, to bring you updates and keep Mistral an interesting place to play.
We've seen a decline in player activity over the past year, and have done what we could to try and counter it, but as volunteers, there's only so much we can do with the time we're able to dedicate to Mistral, and that time has been getting less and less.
This is why, after a lot of consideration, we've decided to discontinue The Mistral Network. This is not a decision we've come to easily, nor quickly. You've probably noticed the lack of updates or how our staff team have been less and less active. We really wanted to make The Mistral Network work, to make it the best network around, but we're just not able to do that, and with changes in our personal lives, we're not able to dedicate the time or effort required to turn things around.
The Mistral Network will be closing it's doors for the final time on Sunday 14th August 2022 with one final event the day before, Saturday 13th August, where we hope you will join us in celebrating The Mistral Network, and say goodbye with us.
Thank you all for being a part of The Mistral Network. It will always remain a fond memory for many of us, and we're so thankful to each and every one of you who made The Mistral Network what it was.
